Mind over Matter was created as a result of the lack of professional support available to the BAME community, coupled with their unwillingness to get help. We want to irradicate the stigma surrounding mental health and make these conversations a part of everyday life.

Mind over matter is a 6-week programme that aims to explore a variety of topics that affect a person’s well-being, this includes identifying the difference between mental health Vs mental ill health, looking at the role stress plays on our mental health.  As well as exploring our identity and the process of recovery, the link between physical and mental health, introduction to mindfulness, and much more.

The sessions will aim to not only give a basic understanding of these topics, but also provide guidance and tools to improve their quality of life.
